System Activity Monitor: Reclaim RAM with One Touch

In case you hadn't noticed, your iPhone isn't so much a phone as a computer that also makes phone calls. As such, the iPhone computer has an operating system and RAM and these
often conspire with apps to retard performance.
System Activity Monitor comes to the rescue. This app has many features but the one you'll use most often is the app's one-touch ability to free up RAM. A colorful pie chart shows the runtime memory being reclaimed.
Another colorful pie chart on the same screen tells you how much storage space you've used and have left.
Third most-useful on System Activity Monitor's feature list is a percentage readout and graphical depiction of available battery storage. You can more or less guess from the iPhone's own battery indicator how much power you have left, but this representation leaves you in no doubt.
Beyond these three useful features, the app also shows you all running processes, CPU usage Wi-Fi IP address and device information (including the ability to email you Device ID, should you need to).
The main thing lacking in System Activity Monitor is more explanation about the features. Fortunately, the most important functions are self-explanatory. They are well worth the $2.99 the app costs.
