Apple Store Stock of 3GS iPhones Fluctuates with Demand
TUESDAY, JUNE 30, 2009 -- MacRumors reported yesterday on the tightening of 3GS supplies in Apple Stores across the US, noting that "three states are currently listed as being entirely out of stock of all four models: Alabama (two stores), Oregon (three stores), and Utah (one store)."
Checking those stores on Apple's availability database about 20 hours after the MacRumors report we found that all of them are in much better shape, with all stores in Alabama, Oregon and Utah having at least one 3GS model in stock and most having several. But who knows what the situation will be like 20 hours hence.
The moral of this story: Things change quickly in this digital world. Check back often. [PAB]
